April 2019 Central Committee Meeting
You are invited to attend the next Yamhill County Democrats Central Committee Meeting on April 25th. You can find the agenda for this meeting below. Here are just a few things we'll be talking about this month!
First, Yamhill County Commissioner Casey Kulla is this month's speaker. He will be discussing some initiatives he is leading, including Climate Action and discussions on a 5-person Board of Commissioners. As always, Commissioner Kulla is an enthusiastic and lively speaker that you won't want to miss, so be sure to arrive by 6:00 PM!
Also, the Yamhill County Democrats have been given the opportunity to host a voter registration table at a Hispanic PTA event in McMinnville on Saturday, April 27th from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM. We are looking for Spanish speaking volunteers who can staff the table and enthusiastically encourage attendees to sign up to vote! Contact Vice Chair Omar Sandoval if you can help!
We will be taking up our National Popular Vote Resolution that was tabled at the last meeting. So, be sure to study up on Senate Bill 870, the bill that just passed in the Oregon Senate and has been sent to the Oregon House. You can also familiarize yourself with the movement that started the National Popular Vote. So, be sure to come prepared for discussion and ready to vote on Resolution 2019-003: National Popular Vote.
We'll See you on Thursday!
Please arrive by 5:30 PM to order dinner.
